Brief description of job:

Brief Description of Job:
The Director of Post Acute Services serves oversees the operations of D’Youville Senior Care and D’Youville Center for Advanced Therapy skilled nursing facilities, and serves as Administrator of D’Youville Senior Care, reporting to the CEO. A member of the Executive Team, the Director gives direction and leadership toward the achievement of D’Youville’s strategic plan and annual goals and objective, and strives to ensure that the mission and values of the sponsors (the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa), along person-centered approach, are integrated into the culture of the organization.


Minimum Qualifications and Skills required to carry out job duties and responsibilities:
Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline preferred. Must have current Massachusetts Nursing Home Administrator License. A minimum of 5 years of experience as the Administrator of a SNF having at least 150 beds, as well as a track record for providing stable leadership at a single facility.

Must be capable of interfacing with the public with poise and confidence; must possess excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; willingness to embrace and maintain visibility and leadership in the community; willingness to embrace, maintain and implement the mission and values of the organization in all areas of service.
