Must be familiar with Auto Scrubbers, Buffing and Carpet machines and basic industry cleaning procedures. Must be available to work every other weekend and rotating shifts as required to accomplish projects on off shifts.

Resident Relations AssistantFull-Time

Brief description of job:
This position provides marketing support to the Director of Community Marketing and assists with the resident move-in process, helping to assure a smooth transition into the community. This position also serves as a concierge, responding to any resident request and seeing that appropriate parties are informed of any issues that need to be addressed.

Part of the responsibility of this position is to “fill in” in various positions when needed (lunch breaks, call outs etc).

Minimum Qualifications Desired:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED). A minimum of three years administrative experience, preferably in a retirement or medical industry, with a proven track record of focus on customer service is required. Must be Computer Savvy and be able to learn a variety of computer programs, prioritize, take directions, and adhere to HIPAA regulations, courteous and friendly, customer service driven, able to multi task.

Assist in implementing activities for Residents on 84 bed unit. Perform all required Alzheimer’s Unit planned recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual activities coordination for residents.

Minimum Qualifications Desired: Previous experience preferred, but not required. Understanding of Alzheimer’s disease or a willingness to learn. Must be able to work independently & be a team player.

This position is responsible for the operation of all aspects of the 60-apartment Saab Residence. The Director serves as the leader of the Saab Residence, reporting to the CEO. The Director gives direction and leadership toward the achievement of D’Youville’s mission, strategy, and annual goals and objectives. The Director strives to ensure that the mission and values of the sponsors (the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa), alongside a person-centered approach, are integrated into the culture of the organization

Minimum Qualifications Desired:
BA in healthcare or related field. 5+ years senior leadership experience in SNF or Assisted Living. Thorough understanding of EOEA Assisted Living regulations. Nursing background preferred.
