So many wonderful amenities at D’Youville are made possible through the generous contributions to our Foundation. To this end, we offer you a variety of giving opportunities to fit your goals or interests.
Whether contributing each year to our Annual Fund, making a Planned Gift that is designed to help you meet your own obligations, creating a legacy of support through an endowment, or simply contributing a much-needed item or service, know that your gift to us helps further our mission of care.
For more information on these and other ways of making a lasting impact on the D’Youville community, please call the Foundation Office for more information at (978) 569-1055.
An Endowment Gift is a gift in which the principal is left untouched and the interest is used to provide support in perpetuity. It can be made immediately or in the form of a bequest. It can be established to support our general purposes or designated for more specific needs. An individual may choose to create his or her own legacy or make the gift in memory of a family member or loved one.
D'Youville Foundation accepts a wide range of gifts that fall within our mission. Past gifts have included everything from large print books and supplies for arts and crafts to large screen televisions, computer equipment, and pianos.
For a list of items we do and do not accept, please call Tara Dhar, Director of Philanthropy at 978-569-1000, x2760 or email email@example.com.
Other ways of giving:
Volunteering: Do you have a skill you can share, or a few hours to spare? We are always looking for volunteers, who help out in many areas – assisting in transporting our many wheelchair-bound residents to their social and educational activities, staffing the gift shop, and even for just a one-on-one visit – to brighten the lives of our residents. Visit our Get Involved page for more information on how you can make a difference.
Join one of the D’Youville Guilds: From the very start in 1960, the D’Youville Ladies’ and Men's Guilds have helped support various resident programs and social activities. Over the years, the Guilds have supported every major fundraising initiative. In addition, they have provided afternoon teas, parties and other social activities for residents, and have hosted summertime cookouts for our residents. Joining is easy and is a wonderful way to meet new people with similar beneficent interests. Find out more about the Guilds.
