D'Youville Diamonds are the staff who, like a beautiful diamond gem, add sparkle to our organization. D'Youville Diamonds take pride in how they do their job, are dependable, are team players, are safety - conscious, and are Mission-driven.

Each month the D'Youville Diamond Selection Committee chooses one employee from among all employees nominated, and this person will be named the D'Youville Diamond for the month. The person recognized receives:

• A gift certificate
• A special parking space located in front of our building
• A coupon that can be redeemed for one day off with pay
• A special D'Youville Diamond pin
• An article in the D'Youville Dispatch employee newsletter
• A reception when the announcement is made
  

D'Youville Diamond for August

Dan Cooney, Business Office, Dan joined the D'Youville Team in April 1996. He knows our mission and its importance to the "margin" and he handles both very well. Dan will get the job done whether it's for a resident, a resident's family or a fellow staff member. He treats everyone like family. He is active on the Cheers team, and serves as its treasurer. Dan stands out as a Diamond no matter what you call on him to do. Thanks for everything you do, Dan -- you are truly a Diamond among us!!
